Senior Pentagon Planner Slams Israel, Gets Fired
Colonel Nathan McCormack, who served as the Levant and Egypt branch chief on the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, has been removed from his post following revelations of numerous social media posts critical of Israel and U.S. policy in the Middle East.
Operating a semi-anonymous account that still included his name, title, and photos in uniform, McCormack referred to Israeli leaders as “Judeo-supremacist cronies,” labeled Israel “a death cult,” and accused the U.S. of enabling Israeli “ethnic cleansing.”
He questioned whether America served as a proxy for Israel and criticized pro-Israel advocacy in the U.S. as prioritizing foreign interests over American ones.
