How do these articles make it to media

One of my distant uncle who came to know that I make money in the market came and started trying to tell my parents how I'm going the wrong way and gambling etc. He then showed how a simple tool like NSC can make 58L in 5 years and I was sure he was click baited, so I still asked him for the article and I had to walk away from there coz it was uncontrollably funny.

PS I'm a swing trader/investor. I have also followed disciplined SIP for last 9 years and till date I've not had a negative year of realized profit.
