S&P prices are now nearly 2 standard deviations above historic trendline again

This has only happened a few times in modern history.

The graph shows inflation adjusted prices, normalised with a log-linear trend line. This way it captures the standard deviation of prices compared to history.

Is this a cause for worry?

Definitely a sign that the market is hot.
