Help please?

I’m trying to warp the text to this rooftop-type shape and it keeps doing this?? I want it to fit the shape as it is, not with that weird bend in the middle. I’m using envelope distort, and I can’t find a warp tool that makes this shape. I might be doing something wrong? TIA
