day 4 of my 365 design challenge
Hello, it is me again!
For today I wanted to create a tiny Instagram ad for a new toy made out of clay. The idea came about thinking about Chinese new years and these red papers they gift you that should bring you luck and good fortune.
First I let MidJourney create me a toy that I could use for the add, something cute, something angry. Then I started to mess around with the shape of the papers they gift you, I initially wanted to give each box an actual paper look, but because of the already high amounts of texts, it would've became to cluttered as it already is - which is intentional. I wanted the ad (and the monster) to jump in your face.
Color graded the little fella, messed around with different color pallets - initially the base color was blue - and choosing a type. I don't speak or write mandarin so don't mind the mistakes.
The bottom left reads "use at your own risk". "Parental Advisory" added as a joke.
Now before you grab your pitchforks and burn me alive because the monster is AI generated - It does not matter and brings me no value. I give myself 60 minutes for these challenges and MidJourney acts as my "client" that delivers me the images. Mods, if this is a "low effort/ai farming"(whatever that means) - I'm sorry, if that's the case than change the rule 5 to explicitly not allow ai at all.
**Only the clay monster is ai generated!**
