High School Video Game Club

A few years back I shared a post about a high school video game club I sponsor. I wanted to post some updated photos as we’re continually adding new games and machines, as well as changing the layout as needed.
Here are a few details of the club to address the most common questions I tend to get:
It’s an after-school club with no funding from the school or district.
All students must have a permission form signed by their guardians every year to participate.
We put a great deal of focus on playing together, particularly in local multiplayer games. We emphasize losing gracefully and being competitive without being toxic.
The room has a camera system run and monitored by the campus police and admin team.
In the 6+ years we’ve been having club we haven’t really had any theft or vandalism.
The majority of the games and equipment come from my collection, but we’re getting an increasing amount of community donations.
We have a team of student leaders who arrange weekly tournaments and decide the overall direction of the club (what games to feature, school outreach, etc.).
Student leaders also curate a full room inventory where they detail the condition of the systems and controllers, so we know what needs replacing or repair.
The room is a converted science lab that wasn’t being used due to its location in the building. If/when the school runs out of classroom space I have no doubt the club will be relocated or removed.
All games that are available for students to actually play and their ratings are in an online database which club parents can access and review. Admin reviews all games as well. You’ll see large collections of games all around the room, but anything with nudity, sexual content, and in some cases extreme violence aren’t actually available to play.
I believe the only area I don’t have a photo of is the VR station, with a Rift S and gaming rig.
Questions welcome!
